Cast on sock

DSC02044, originally uploaded by Paisley Womble.

I've had these two skeins of LL Shepherd Sock in the Ravenswood colourway sitting in the stash for ages. It really is a gorgeous colour combo and this really is the softest, but toughest sock yarn ever. Pattern is Deb Barnhill's Diamante from Knitty.com - simple, but interesting enough. The Knit Picks Harmony dpns are going pretty well too - not too much anxiety-causing flex.

pretty pretty! I got the harmony dpns for Christmas too but I haven't been able to test them out yet. just need to finish the stupid lace shawl for my grandmother first... (it's only taking months and months!)

It's a very similar colourway to the yarn I used for Clapotis; only mine was DK handpainted wool from New Zealand in a colour called 'lavender"!?

So... I love the colours; and soft but tough socks are very important. Looking forward to seeing the finished socks.
