One down, five to go

I wouldn't win any prizes for my blocking technique, but I'm too busy admiring the centre petals to worry too much about the edging. And the honeycomb netting looks so effective.

Gorgeous. That honeycomb netting is used a lot in Herbert Neibling doilies, he calls it hexagonal mesh. I hadn't heard of either term before, but I think I like the term honeycomb netting better.
