spider season

It's spider season here at Paisley HQ. I stepped on a huntsman yesterday afternoon with my bare feet. No harm done - I think I scared him (her? I didn't check that closely...) more than me. I scooped him up in a glass and popped him onto the front garden.
I leave most of the spider webs around my place intact in the hope that the spiders will eat up more of the flying insects like flies and mozzies.

We haven't had any huntsmen for a while but we have lots of daddy-long-legs and the occasional white tail. I only kill the latter.
