Soulful Spike meets Roza's Socks

I kept things pretty simple for my January socks and the result? I've finished my first pair in 15 days. This gives me a bit of leeway for the more complicated socks that are planned for later in the year.
So far I've kept to my goal of knitting at least a little bit each day. Tonight I will be plugging away at the never-ending orange cardi, but for now, I'm off to a cooking lesson. S's amma is giving us a Sri Lankan cooking class. I'm hoping that hoppers will feature.

1 sock down. 23 to go.

I'm on schedule (or maybe even a little bit ahead, which could give some wriggle room down the track).
I'm going to try and knit every day - even if it's only a couple of rounds - to try and keep the pace up.

12 pairs of socks in 2012. On your marks...

Happy New Year.
I'm all set to start my 2012 project. The first few days of the year are threatening to be hot as Hades (35C today, 40C tomorrow and 35C again on Tues) so my January socks are being knit in cotton (Blue Moon Fiber Arts Sock Candy).
